The annual Sports and Cultural Meet of Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions that was held on January 11-12, 2011 was a festival of skill and thrill, colour, vibrancy and devotional fervour. This is where one finds a beautiful confluence of spirituality and sports. Here, it is not ruthless competition but amazing cooperation. Every student of Swami's school or college works not for individual glory but for collective achievement. The aim of this grand exercise is not to put up a show of one's skills be it in gymnastics, athletics, team sports, dance or any other activity but to perform every event as an offering to the Divine. This purity of intent confers on them unmatched ability and finally secures for them Divine grace and proximity. Here a few video glimpses of this lively festival.
