What am attaching is a Keerthana, one of the 108 long songs that my father's uncle composed and set to tune in the 1950's. They use to write the songs to Swami and Swami used to write back to them many times with telugu poems, which they have used in the subsequent song lyrics.
Am attaching one such song sung by my father. If it reaches some ears in Radio Sai, am sure Swami would do the rest. |

Thanks for the opportunity. Always Swamy is making me His instrument in composing Bhajans. Swamy also blessed the Bhajan "govinda bolo gopala bolo ram naam bolo hari naam bolo" which He composed through me. I really never sit to compose Bhajans. It just comes. Both words and tune.

The inspirations to write this came from many devotees’ question as to why one comes to the ashram when it is very well known that no one can step in the ashram without Swami’s will. Therefore it seems whoever enters the ashram must have been called by Swami. It means one must have done some meritorious deeds to be able to enter the holy grounds of Prashanthi Nilayam.
Swami’s projects such as Water, Education, Medical, the coming of Golden Age, Swami’s axioms regarding service to men and loving all beings inspired me to knit a song combining all above and to write a few lines believing it as at least an answer to the question of the devotees as to why Swami has called one to Parthi. Of course the true answer lies with Bhagwan Himself only. |

Thank you Radio Sai team for providing us with this opportunity to contribute our bhajan.
Ever since I saw the post from Radio Sai inviting our contribution, I had decided that I would participate. Took my neighbour's son to my friend's home to compose tune. While coming back home in a bike, in the main road a bike in its full speed dashed against my bike with all its force (the noise still lingering in my head). All I knew was I had shouted Sairam. The next moment, my bike dashed against a huge wall and came to a halt, my head spinning. It was a Sunday (Sept 21st), so not much traffic, but crowd gathered. After regaining my composure, I was awestruck to find that I had just a minor injury on my right knee and the other person had injury on his ankle with blood oozing out. Inspite of the force with which our bikes had head on collision, we survived. Did I cry??? That moment I knew for sure Swami had taken all the pain to save our lives. Thank you is a very SIMPLE word to tell to our Swami. I had to express in a different way.... The next day while I was saying my morning prayer a thought struck my mind.. Why not I contribute a bhajan on my own.....and that's how Swami made me write this composition. |
