Man's life depends upon three things - his thoughts, his words, and his deeds. Whatever desires one gets, one will exhibit them and take them to his mind. For getting a thought, mind is the basis. The thought that comes to your mind will be exposed to the world as the word of the mouth. Once you utter this word of your mouth and expose the thought that has come to your mind, in order that you put it into practice, action comes on. It is only when there is a harmony between this thought, word, and action that man will be in a position to recognize his own true nature. When one is able to put these three - thought, word, and action along the right path, then do we earn punya (merit from good deeds).
