The Vedas proclaim three sections:
Karma, Upasana, and Jnaana. Karma is the section
dealing with the activities that strengthen and purify faith and
devotion. Upaasana is the section dealing with worship
of the personal God. It is the surrender of all skills and
experiences and dedication of one's acts unto the the Lord. As a
result of these two, the Consciousness is able to recognize in a
flash the Jnaana, the knowledge of the Divinity immanent in all.
