The Universe is a University for those who care to watch and learn. Education has to tend to the body, mind and spirit in addition to the intelligence. Awareness is life. The farmer, the  carpenter, the smith, the sculptor, the merchant - all have the need to be aware of their duties and responsibilities. Education must foster and fix their skills and standards. It must also encourage the acceptance of the good and the rejection of the bad. Spiritual education should be part and parcel of all types and levels of education. Spiritual and secular education are like two halves in the seeds of pulses - the germs that sprout are in between the two.
