The process of control of senses is very essential for attaining Prasanthi. Prasanthi means success in the elimination of desire and anger.  Peace is the very force that comes to the aid of those who try to develop discrimination, renunciation and keenness of intellect. Peace, just like the atma (Eternal Self) too has no beginning or end, no blemish can tarnish it. It is equalled only by itself. Such beautiful peace must be manifested in feeling, word, posture and deed in uniform equal measure.  Then, Santhi becomes Prasanthi (supreme peace).
