Grace for Greece
Volume 2 Issue 18 Oct 2004 Miscellaneous

It is really so rewarding to serve our brothers and sisters and see the gratitude in their large smiles and bright eyes!

The children of our group actively participated in these Seva activities by distributing sweets and photos to the children and by helping serve the food and water. Their dedication and happiness was a wonder for the eyes to see – a direct proof of the significance of educating children at a very young age and instilling in their tender hearts the Five Human Values not only by precept, but mainly by practice. These valuable lessons will not be forgotten during their whole lives!

Many of the ladies of our group did daily Seva in the ashram's Western Canteen and for two days they cooked Greek meals with items that we had brought from Greece.
