At the end, the doctors were trying to get the patient off the heart-lung machine. But they could not succeed. They tried everything, but the symptoms were depressing; it looked as if the patient would die. At this stage, the young technical officer who was operating the heart-lung machine decided to pray to Swami. Silently he said, “Swami, I don’t know who this patient is, but this I do know. The patient is in a bad shape. You alone can save the patient. Please help Baba!” Miraculously the patient revived much to the surprise of the doctors. The technical officer did not tell anyone about his prayer. He just kept quiet about the whole thing. The following Sunday morning when he went for Darshan, Swami came to him and materialised Vibhuti for the young man who was taken by total surprise. Swami then smiled, and said, “This is for praying for a patient whom you did not even know!”
